About The Show

Ricardo Malerbi and Rudi Solon present a unique kind of game in which every player expects to be deceived and finds joy in it. If you accept the challenge and embrace the deception, you will leave more exhilarated than when you arrived.

This show explores the fine line between what is real and what merely appears to be, turning illusion into an act of pure honesty and celebrating the paradox at its core. A decision will feel entirely yours – until you realise it never was. Telepathy, after all, is not about reading minds, but about guiding them.

Meet the Artists

Ricardo Malerbi

Ricardo Malerbi is a magician, actor, and researcher whose work explores the fusion of magical art with theatrical and performative languages. Trained at the Brazilian Academy of Magical Arts in 2000, he later earned a degree in Communication and Performing Arts from PUC-SP (2006), with a specialization in performance. Since then, he has been developing a body of work focused on the poetic, political, and conceptual dimensions of illusion. Considered one of Brazil’s most experienced artists in the field, he creates performances that combine narrative, mystery, and experimentation. He is a founding member of the groups Oculto do Aparente and Cia. Fundo Falso, both known for exploring illusion as a medium for critical thinking and audience engagement.

Rudi Solon

Rudi Solon is a magician and actor who researches illusion as a communicative phenomenon. He holds a degree in Advertising from ECA/USP and a master’s degree from the same institution’s graduate program in Communication Sciences, where he studied the relationship between magic and image. He works as an illusionist, master of ceremonies, and speaker in the fields of communication and creativity at corporate events in Brazil and abroad. He is the author of the show Ilusões de Imagem (“Illusions of Image”), the result of his master’s research. He also collaborates in the development of performances that blend illusion, theater, and thought-provoking imagery. He is a member of the groups Oculto do Aparente and Cia. Fundo Falso, which explore the boundaries between reality and fiction through the lens of contemporary magic and visual storytelling in both artistic and educational contexts.
